Ludovica is really into dusting our room. Whenever I'm least expecting it, she announces it is time to clean the room. This involves dusting the desk, bookshelves, closet, floor, and taking all of our bedding outside to "kill the little animals." Apparently the sunlight is good for the bedding. Anyway, we shake all the stuff out, leave it in the sun for 30 minutes, then put everything back in the room and dust again. Sometimes things get violent.
In my house we don't do this. We vacuum, mop, sanitize, disinfect, change our sheets, etc.. but there is no violently shaking our bedding. I don't know - do people in America do this? Is there scientific evidence to support the sun-is-good-for-bedding theory? I have many questions.
I don't think our downstairs neighbors appreciate when we do this. Also I seriously wish I had a picture of my host mom beating one of Ludovica's pillows with that woven racket thing. It was the best face I've ever seen. Ok love y'all. Ciao.
Nice knowledge gaining article. This post is really the best on this valuable topic.
